THE CHALLENGE
Currently users experience unnecessary friction before signing up for the Business product. Our goal was to create a sign up flow with less friction.

1. The solution must accommodate existing users who want to convert their free accounts into business accounts.

OVERVIEW
Previously, a credit card was required to sign up for the free trial. Although this method did prequalify candidates, we chose to remove this step to decrease friction. This allows users to experience the product before asking for a commitment. We first determined what server and what design work was needed in order to outline the project. We then identified the constraints and possibilities illustrated in the following flow diagram.
EXPERIMENT

We are continuing to collect data on this test. We hope to identify areas of further opportunity to optimize our signup funnel and provide our users with a seamless signup experience.
